Welcome to the Constructive and Deconstructive Forces Unit!

In this unit, we will cover how Earth’s surface is constantly changing through constructive and destructive forces. Students will explore how landforms are created, changed, and sometimes destroyed by natural processes such as weathering, erosion, deposition, earthquakes, volcanoes, and glaciers. Throughout this unit, students will investigate real-world examples, complete hands-on activities, and develop a deeper understanding of how these powerful forces shape our planet over time. By the end of the unit, students will be able to explain the difference between constructive and destructive forces and identify how they impact Earth’s surface.
